Our current plan is that timRADIO will be like a regular station, with music grouped by type, specific "shows" that are all one kind of music, commercial breaks (TIM related), PSAs (TIM Related), Drop-In Promos (TIM Related), and, well, you get the idea....

We're being very open as to our format. Things we expect to be playing are:

• TIMster-Created Music
• TIMster-Created Computer Music
• Rants/Statements/Lectures by TIMsters
• Educational/Programming Lecture Stuff
• Commercials for TIM Parties and TIM Locations
• Information on Connecting to TinyTIM
• Recorded "Promos" featuring TIMster people or famous people promoting timRADIO

WHAT WE DON'T WANT TO PLAY

We are NOT interested in playing copyrighted music ripped off of commercial CDs and just strung together in some hacked-together playlist, playing the same old music from someone's techno collection. The Shoutcast server directory is FILLED with stations like that. Yes, they fulfil a purpose, and yes, they can be enjoyable to listen to, but who really needs yet ANOTHER one of those on the Internet? We want to have a fun-quirky station which is filled with TIMster stuff and TIMmish things, and if that means a relatively small playlist, so be it. We're patient.

Basically, if TIMsters didn't make it, timRADIO doesn't want it at all. If TIMsters made it, timRADIO wants it a lot.
